I have to give the most positive review of this place, as a truly is a FAMILY Tavern. My husband wanted to come here and order pizza. The staff saw that we had two young kids with us. They promptly got the kids drinks, (with lids and straws) and made sure that cartoons were put on the TV for them. It is so refreshing to have an establishment cater to our children, and take their entertainment needs into consideration...

Second trip to this restaurant. Both times it has been excellent. French onion soup was again perfection. Fried ravioli and onion rings among the best we tasted. Baked buffalo wings were surprisingly spicy. Not overpowering, or under seasoned. Just nice spicy Buffalo taste. Fries were good as was a small side salad. Looking forward to my trip to sea coast and THE SHANTY!

Great local spot! Tasty food, great beer selection and friendly staff!! What more could you want?? SPORTS!!??? Trivia??!! Well you're in luck!!! THEY GOT THOSE TOO!!! TV's everywhere around the bar and restaurant. Great hosts for their trivia nights too. If you haven't been in, you should give it a shot! My favorites are the wings, fish sandwiches and pizzas!! Their specials are delicious as well! Cheers!!!

The Shanty has done a great job with catering to what its' patrons really want: good food, drink specials, and friendly service. I have been coming here with my family since it opened and I am always happy and full when I leave! The GF pizza is to die for and so is the bang bang shrimp! Always a favorite of mine!

Came here tonight as my boyfriend said the food was really good, well he was correct. We started with Mozzarella sticks, they were really good!!!!! Cheese was nice and stringy. Next I got the Steak Tips, rice pilaf, and a side salad, the rice was really good, not sticky or anything. Athens steak tips were amazing, nice and tender...all in all this is a diamond in the ruff..
